Recommend Yoav a song to cover!
This board is too quiet!
So, I was thinking the other day what songs I think Y could make a cool cover of, since he seems to quite enjoy interpreting someone else's tunes. In fact, it would be quite cool if he put one cover on each album he makes. I came up with:
Burn one down - Ben Harper (very cool hand drums that he could beat out on the guitar)
Otherwise - Morcheeba (not sure if it's gender transferable, but anyway)
Sugarman - Rodriguez (think he may already have this in his repertoire)
Other suggestions from the forum?

Smashing pumpkins - today
Sugar Ray - Spinning away (what a great track)
take your pick from any nine inch nails stuff, he would do any track justice.
I was a bit drunk at his Glasgow (Scotland) gig and ask him about 15 times to cover the above tracks

Everybody knows-Leonard Cohen
Polly-Nirvana
Mr.Jones-Counting Crows
Dear God-XtC
Like the weather (or) Because the night-10,000 maniacs, (I know the latter is debatable on who should get the credit so i'll give Bruce his fair dues, but Natalie made that song hers!)

Fleetwood Mac - The Chain
Collective Soul - December
... just about anything by Depeche Mode
Pink Floyd - Eclipse
The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony
I bet he could do an absolutely haunting rendition of some of the Who's songs, too, like "This Song is Over" or "Baba O'Riley".
just my humble suggestions ^_^
